Why this test matters
The test challenges seals from multiple directions and can reveal weaknesses at cable entries, mating interfaces, overmold boundaries and housing joints. Test pressure, temperature, distance, angle and exposure sequence must follow the selected specification. Post-test inspection and electrical verification determine whether the assembly continued to provide the required protection.
