What this laboratory video demonstrates
Small dimensional deviations can affect terminal insertion, connector locking, crimp geometry and final assembly fit. This video shows EBC's 2.5D optical measuring instrument, which combines a calibrated imaging system, controlled illumination and programmable measurement tools to inspect component geometry without applying contact force to the sample.
Why this test matters
The system supports repeatable measurement of lengths, diameters, angles, spacing, profiles and feature positions. Digital inspection reduces operator interpretation and makes it easier to compare production samples with drawings or approved limits. It is suitable for terminals, stamped parts, connector features and other precision components used in cable and wire harness assemblies.
